Platteville, Wis. - The Wartburg men's soccer team had a 2-1 loss versus UW-Platteville.
The Pioneers had a 1-0 advantage during the first half, the Knights responded tying the game 1-1.
Riley Close scored the lone goal for the Orange and Black, and his first goal of the season, off a penalty shot at the 67-minute mark.
Six minutes later, the Pioneers responded with the game-winning goal, giving UW-Platteville a 2-1 win.Â
The Pioneers outshot the Knights 11-6 while Wartburg had a 6-3 corner kick advantage.
