Men's Soccer Hosts Coe Wednesday, Travels to UW-Whitewater Friday

 
WAVERLY, Iowa – The Wartburg men's soccer team hosts Coe on Wednesday night at the Wartburg Soccer Field and will travel to Whitewater, Wis. to play UW-Whitewater on Friday.

  • This will be the fifth matchup between Wartburg and Coe

 Last Time Out
The Knight's had back-to-back road games this past Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, Wartburg fell 1-0 to the Central Dutch. Wartburg outshot Central 12-4 and had an 8-4 corner kick advantage. On Sunday, the Knights earned a 2-1 victory at Gustavus Adolphus. Ten minutes into the game, the Gusties scored their only goal of the game. One minute later Edvin Rizvic scored his first career goal for the Knights. Leaving the game tied at half, Kevin Duque scored the game-winning goal at the 82-minute mark giving the Knights a 2-1 victory.
