EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The Wartburg men's basketball suffered a 79-70 loss to UW-Eau Claire on Tuesday night.
Junior
Max Smith Drahos led the Knights with 18 points, followed by junior
Ryan Stulken and freshman
AJ Becker who each scored 12 points for Wartburg.
Senior
Tyler Zumbach recorded eight points for the Orange and Black and also had eight rebounds. Five other Knights notched points with 18 being bench points.
Wartburg was 25-of-60 in field goal shooting and were 12-of-15 from the free throw line and recorded seven steals.Â
The Knights were trailing the Blugolds 43-32 at halftime and responded with a 38-36 lead over UW-Eau Claire during the second half, but were unable to take the final win.Â
Next up, the Orange and Black are headed back to Wisconsin to play UW-La Crosse on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 7 pm.Â
