LISLE, Ill. - The Wartburg women's tennis team dropped a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday, falling 7-2 versus North Central and 6-3 against Concordia University Wisconsin, falling to 1-2 overall on the season.

Versus North Central, the Knights went down 3-0 in doubles prior to rallying in singles. Wartburg trimmed the deficit in half with wins and the number four and six singles spots from Olivia Phillips and Jamie Knox. NCC followed with a win at the No. 2 spot, however, to seal the match.

Wartburg was swept again during doubles play in the second match of the day versus CUW and responded in singles with points from Madison Overmann, Lauren O'Brian, and Phillips at the 2-4 spots, respectively, but the Knights were unable to overcome the deficit.
