DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Wartburg volleyball team concluded competition at the Loras College Invitational Saturday afternoon, falling in five set versus Dominican University prior to defeating St. Norbert College 3-1.
Dominican 3, Wartburg 2
The Knights and Stars traded victories throughout the first four sets until Dominican sealed the win with a 15-8 triumph in set five. The first three sets were each decided by three points or less. 
Dominican held a slim advantage on the attack, hitting .186 compared to a .181 clip for Wartburg, along with a 64-52 Stars lead in kills. 
Kylie Bildstein led Wartburg with 13 kills, followed by 12 each from 
Natalie Clayberg and 
Jayme Willemssen. 
Katie Foster notched a season-high 28 digs. 
Wartburg 3, St. Norbert 1
After dropping the first set against St. Norbert, the Knights closed out weekend with wins in sets two through four to seal the 3-1 win. Despite St. Norbert leading in kills, assists, and digs, Wartburg led 11-7 in aces and 10-6 in blocks. 
Bildstein and Willemssen shared the offensive lead with 13 kills each, along with 24 assists from 
Claire Marsh. Foster led the defense with 20 digs.
