DENVER, Colo. - The University of Denver Division of Athletics and Recreation announced its 2020 Athletic Hall of Fame Class, with Wartburg men's basketball head coach
Dick Peth honored as one of 12 inductees to be recognized during the University's Alumni Weekend May 16, 2020.
Prior to Wartburg, Peth spent 12 seasons as the head coach of Denver men's basketball and is the winningest coach in program history with a record of 221-123. He led the Pioneers to winning seasons in all 12 years, including a 26-6 season in 1991-92 in which Denver fell one game short of the NCAA DII Quarterfinals.
Peth is currently in his 23rd season at Wartburg and has compiled 360 wins and a trio of Iowa Conference Championships.
