DECORAH, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis was defeated for the first time this season after an 8-1 loss at Luther College on Saturday in a pivotal American Rivers Conference contest between the final two unbeaten programs.
Junior
Ambriel Jacobs took home the Knights (8-1, 5-1 A-R-C) only victory at the No. 6 singles position and improved her season tally to 3-0. The Orange and Black are still well above .500 in both singles and doubles this year. Wartburg has compiled a 37-14 record in singles and an 18-7 ledger in doubles.
