WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis improved its home winning streak to six matches when it defeated Buena Vista University 9-0 on Monday in Waverly. The Knights have not suffered a loss to the Beavers since 2002 and have won 21-straight contests.Â

Sydney Rottinghaus and
Olivia Phillips recorded their team-high sixth doubles win together while senior
Sydney Powers earned her team-best seventh win of the campaign in the doubles competition. Freshman
Georgia Nissen tallied her second collegiate victory in singles during the contest. The Knights improved their season record in doubles play to 21-7 and bolstered their singles ledger to 43-14 after earning their third sweep of the year.Â
