WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis began its three-game homestand with an 8-1 victory over Cornell College on Friday in Waverly and recorded its seventh consecutive win to remain undefeated. The Knights also extended their unbeaten streak against the Rams to three-straight matches. 

The Knights were powered by sophomore Alyssa Guse and senior Sydney Rottinghaus who both stayed perfect in singles play when they earned their fifth victory of the season. Guse also leads the team in doubles with a 6-0 record while senior Sydney Powers picked up her fifth doubles win in today's match. The Orange and Black are now a total of 49-9 across all competitions this year.
