LEXINGTON, KY—The Wartburg College Knights volleyball squad remained steady at No. 5 in the latest AVCA poll, after sweeping competition last week.
The Knights (22-0, 6-0 A-R-C) defeated conference opponent Loras in four sets. The Knights battled to a five-set victory over Coe on Oct. 16, moving to 6-0 in conference play. The Knights received one first place vote in this week's poll.
Following a 61-dig performance, that saw 32 digs against Coe,
Katie Foster was named
A-R-C Defensive Player of the Week. This was Foster's fifth honor this season.
The Knights conclude the regular season with a three-game homestand beginning on Friday. The No. 5 Knights are set to welcome Simpson to Levick Arena at 5:30 p.m.
