WAVERLY, Iowa – Women's tennis had a busy day of competition on the road Saturday Oct. 2 as they went 2-2 in split-squad action to move to 6-7 overall and 3-2 in the American Rivers Conference.

Wartburg's Orange squad traveled to Concordia University and then followed it with a dual against Northwestern in Orange City, Iowa. The Black squad was on the road for a pair of American Rivers Conference matches against Buena Vista and Nebraska Wesleyan.
 
The Black squad went 2-0 in A-R-C competition with a 9-0 win over Buena Vista and a 5-4 win over Nebraska Wesleyan.

Natalie Kaiser was 2-0 at the No. 2 singles position for the Knights and won her matches in straight sets. She was also 2-0 in No. 1 doubles play with her partner Meadow LaDuke.
 
The Orange squad was defeated 2-5 by Concordia and 0-7 to Northwestern College.

Gracie O' Donnell earned the Orange squad's only singles win. She won in straight sets at the number four position.

In doubles play, the team of O' Donnell and Bailey Sinnwell went 2-0 at the second doubles spot. Alyssa Guse and Sydney Stout teamed up for a win in the number one doubles position against Concordia to go 1-1 on Saturday.
