MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis competed in a neutral site match against the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday, March 20 and came away with a 9-0 victory in the first ever contest between the two programs.
The Knights (12-3, 7-1 A-R-C) did not drop a set all day in the clean sweep of the Raiders. Junior
Madison Overmann headlined the contest with her win at the No. 1 singles match and she doubled up her win total with a victory at the No. 1 doubles position with sophomore
Olivia Phillips. The Waverly native Phillips recorded her team-high 10th victory in singles and improved to 10-4 on the year. Freshman
Georgia Nissen tallied her second collegiate doubles victory and third in singles.
