SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Wartburg women's tennis began its spring season with a 4-3 defeat against Morningside College on Friday, March 5 in Sioux City. The match marked just the second meeting between the two schools as the Knights won the first contest 5-4 back in 2013.Â
Up next, the Orange & Black (10-2, 7-1 A-R-C) will battle Hamline University (0-0) on Saturday, March 6 in Owatonna, Minn. with first serve set for 1:00 p.m.Â

Singles were not as kind to the Knights as they won just two out of the six matches. Sophomore
Olivia Phillips earned her second victory of the night when she defeated her opponent at the No. 2 spot. Junior
Ambriel Jacobs continued to be strong for the Knights when she tallied her fifth singles victory of the year and first at the No. 4 position.Â
