During his first collegiate start, Wartburg sophomore pitcher

The Knights scored the game-winning run in the second and added an insurance run in the sixth to allow Ciero breathing room.

A trio of Wartburg singles in the second led the game's first run scored.
Ben DeKruyf singled and advanced into scoring position off another single from
Keaton Gray.
JoJo McNair then singled through the left side to score DeKruyf for the game-winning RBI.

Cael Boehmer led off the sixth inning with a triple and scored during the next at bat as DeKruyf doubled.
