LEXINGTON, KY—With an impressive 12-0 start to the season, the Wartburg College Knights volleyball squad jumps six positions to sit at No. 10 in this week's AVCA poll.

The Knights defeated UW-La Crosse, who received votes in this week's poll, at the UW-La Crosse Invitational last weekend. The Knights posted straight set victories over Hamline, UW-La Crosse, and Elmhurst at the tournament.

The Knights opened American Rivers Conference action on Sept. 14, defeating Buena Vista 3-1.

Senior libero Katie Foster earned her third straight A-R-C Defensive Player of the Week honors after tallying 86 digs over the week. This was Foster's nineteenth Defensive Player of the Week honor.  

The Knights take on the University of Dubuque on Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in a conference match-up.
