LEXINGTON, KY—Continuing their climb in the rankings, the Wartburg College Knights (17-0, 2-0) sit at No. 8 in this week's AVCA rankings.

The Knights defeated Dubuque and Gustavus in four sets before sweeping Augsburg, Augustana, and Carleton in the Wartburg Invitational.  

The Knights received one first-place vote in this week's poll as they jump two spots from last week. 

For the third time this season, the Knights swept the American Rivers Conference volleyball weekly honors. Katie Foster earned her fourth consecutive defensive player of the week honors, while Kylie Bildstein picked up her third offensive player honors.

The Knights host Luther on Sept. 29, as they open A-R-C action at home.
