KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Wartburg women's soccer's Katie Berglund was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Scholar All-North/Central Region Second-team, as announced on Wednesday, Dec. 14. 

The Polk City, Iowa native was one of 29 student-athletes to be named to the All-North/Central Scholar All-Region teams and one of six American Rivers Conference student-athletes to be honored. Berglund has now earned her first All-Region and Scholar All-Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches this year. This is the third straight season with an Scholar All-Region honoree. 

Berglund is a Physical Education major and has a GPA of 3.83. The senior forward started all 21 games for the Knights this season and was responsible for 19 total points with eight goals and three assists. The eight goals was a career high in a season for Berglund and three assists tied her season best.
