DES MOINES—The Wartburg Dance Team competed at the State Championships, hosted by the Iowa State Dance & Drill Team Association, on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

The Knights placed in all three events:

• DII/III Hip Hop: 2^nd/6 teams          354.5 total, 88.63 average
• DII/III Pom: 3^rd/6 teams                 323.5 total, 80.88 average
• DII/III Jazz: 7^th/7 teams                  308.5 total, 77.13 average

Notes:

• Jazz had a school-record total score and average score
• Hip hop had a school-record total score and average score
• Pom had a school-record total score
