WAVERLY, IA—Max Goodhue was named to the First-Team Academic All-District as announced by CoSIDA today.
Goodhue tied the school record for most triples in a season (8) and has a .394 average this season. Goodhue leads the team in hits (63), has a .644 slugging percentage, and has 41 runs scored this season.
A senior from Carlisle, Iowa, Goodhue has a 3.67 GPA in Exercise Science.
The 2021-22 Academic All-District® Baseball and Softball Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball and softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
