KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its Team Academic Excellence Award and Honors Court recipients for the 2021-22 season today, with Wartburg men's basketball receiving the team award and three athletes earning Honors Court selections.
 
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2021-22 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. This marks the fourth time the Knights have received the Team Academic Excellence Award since its inaugural 2012-13 season. (2016-17, 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2021-22)
 
The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2021-22 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
