WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg men's basketball defeated Loras College 93-78 on Wednesday, Jan. 18 for back-to-back conference wins. The Knights are now 4-4 in American Rivers Conference play this season and 7-10 overall.

- Keagan John and Jack Molstead got on the board first to put Wartburg up 4-0 for the first two minutes of the game
- With Wartburg leading 6-5, Molstead made a jumper and then Hicks scored six straight points for the Knights to push the lead to 14-7 early
- A Drew Olson jumper made the score 16-9 before the Duhawks scored four staght to cut the lead down to three with 13 minutes left in the half

- A three poiner put the Duhawks down nine, but free throws from Olson and Codey Hicks kept the Knights in front by double digits.
