CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference announced its weekly conference honors on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and Belle Dietrich was named the women's soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Her Accomplishments:

• Dietrich helped lead the Wartburg Knights to a 2-0 week with wins over Nebraska Wesleyan (3-2) and Luther (2-1).
• The senior scored the game winning goal over Luther, in the 80th minute of the contest.
• The defender played all 90 minutes in both matches during the course of the week.
• The Knights now move to 5-6-1 overall and 3-1 in league play.
• Wartburg hosts Loras this evening (Tuesday) in an important A-R-C matchup.
• The Marion, Iowa native is earning her first-career Defensive Player of the Week honor.

The Knights are in action at home tonight against Loras College beginning at 5 p.m.
