Richie Rosenblum got the Knights the lead early hitting the first three of the game to go up 3-0, before the Cougars hit back-to-back three-point field goals to take an early 6-3 lead

Minnesota-Morris took an 18-7 lead before Ethan Yungtum connected on a three to cut the lead to eight halfway through the first half

Drake Wemark connected on his first shot of the game for three to cut the Cougars lead to 13 with a minute left in the half
