WAVERLY, Iowa – Men's basketball got American Rivers Conference play underway with a 61-58 win over Luther College at home on Tuesday, Nov. 21. The Knights are now 1-4 overall and move to 1-0 in A-R-C play.

- First Half
- The Knights started off 3/3 from downtown with threes from Marshun Williams, Isaac Besh and Luke Ladwig
- Richie Rosenblum and Carter Cuvelier both connected on three pointers to make the score 17-12 five minutes into the game
- Williams made a layup with an assist from Colin Bilotta to make the score 21-15 with 10:26 left in the half
- Wartburg's lead grew as high as 10 points, but Luther went on a 9-0 run to bring the game within one with three minutes to play in the half

- After trading baskets and threes, Ladwig connected from deep to give Wartburg a 56-53 advantage
- Luther cut the lead to one, but Williams made a layup with 4:46 left to keep the lead at three
- After four minutes of scoreless basketball, Besh put the game on ice with a three pointer to put Wartburg ahead six with 22 seconds to play
