DECORAH, Iowa-- The Wartburg softball team (20-16 overall, 10-6 A-R-C) split with Luther (31-7, 12-4) Saturday in the regular season finale.

Game One

• Norse scored seven in the bottom of the second for the early lead
• Reegan Deputy broke up no hitter in the fourth with her single to centerfield
• She later scored on Sydney Fellows' single to right
• Wartburg tallied two in the sixth on Norse fielding errors
• Fellows 2-3, 2 RBI
• Deputy 2-3 
• Hannah Luellen pitched 4.0 innings of scoreless relief

 
 Game Two

• Deputy hit a leadoff home run
• The Norse answered with one in the bottom of the frame
• Deputy hit a two-run single to right to make it 3-1
• Luther answered again with two runs of its own to tie it at three all
• This remained the score until the sixth when the Knights used a three-run top of the sixth, on an Ally Happ squeeze bunt to score Ella Link and a Tarah Wehde two-run single to score Frerichs and Happ
• The Norse were unable to compile a rally to seal the win for the Orange and Black
• Deputy: 3-4, 3 RBI. Moved her hitting streak to six games. 
• Kaylie Springer: 2-4
• Lauren Frerichs: 2-3, 2 runs
• Ashley Nelson threw 4.1 innings of scoreless relief
