Men's Soccer Defeat Knox College 1-0 on the Road

GALESBURG, Ill. – Wartburg men's soccer remain unbeaten this season (4-0-1) after defeating Knox College 1-0 on the road Sunday, Sept. 10.
 
Game Summary
  • First Half
    • Knox had two shots off target in the first five minutes, but Wartburg answered with a goal in the seventh minute when Edvin Rizvic scored with an assist from Alima Mmunga
    • Rizvic had another shot minutes later that was just off target and the score remained 1-0 Wartburg
    • The Knights got back-to-back corner kick opportunities in the 34th minute, but could not convert any scoring opportunities
    • Wartburg led 1-0 at the break
      • Wartburg led 6-5 in shots, with the goal being the only shot on target
