CHICAGO, Ill. – Men's soccer (4-0-2) battled No. 25 North Park University (3-1-1) to a 0-0 draw on the road after a hard-fought 90 minutes of play on Friday, Sept. 15.

• First Half
  • Edvin Rizvic had an opportunity early and recorded the first shot of the match in the seventh minute, but it was just off goal and missed wide right
  • Wartburg played with lots of energy and was flying around getting to loose balls
  • Both defenses did a great job keeping the offense away from any shot opportunities
  • North Park got the ball into attacking position and then drew a foul in the box that led to a penalty kick opportunity for the Vikings
    • Brennon Woody made the save on the penalty kick in the 37^th minute to keep the score 0-0

  • North Park got a corner kick early into the second half, but it was headed out of danger by the Knights defense
