WHITEWATER, Wis. – Wartburg men's soccer (5-0-4) battled the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (8-0-3) to a 0-0 draw in the second annual Battle for the Warhawk Knight trophy rivalry series.
 
Match Summary

• First Half
  • Sam McDevitt recorded the first shot of the match, but it missed just high in the sixth minute
  • UW-Whitewater answered with a shot on goal in the 10^th minute that was saved by Brennon Woody
  • Landon Hartsell attempted two shots in the next 10 minutes but both attempts were off target
    • Knights also generated two corner kick opportunities in that time
  • Neither defense allowed a shot on goal for the rest of the half
• Second Half
  • The Warhawks got an early shot in the 54^th minute that was off target
