ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – No. 25 women's cross country competed in the Augustana Interregional Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19 where the Knights finished eighth out of 35 total teams. It was a nationally competitive field as six teams competing were ranked in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) top 25, including three top 10 teams.
The Knights scored 293 points as a team and were led by
Haley Meyer who finished in 39
th and
Ellie Meyer who finished in 48
th. Wartburg was able to edge Central College in the team standings by 44 points.

The Knights will be back in action next on Saturday, Nov. 2 for the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) championships held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
