WAVERLY, Iowa – Men's soccer battled the University of Wisconsin-Platteville to a 3-3 draw at home in an action-packed regional matchup on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The draw brings Wartburg's overall record to 7-4-4 and UW-Platteville's overall record to 10-1-3.

- The Knights got on the scoreboard first in the eighth minute when Lwings Kabula slashed deep into the defense and found Alima Mmunga in front of the net for a finish to make the score 1-0 Wartburg
- In the 16th minute, Flori Gembo had a shot blocked and deflected back to him where he fired a shot past the keeper to extend Wartburg's lead to 2-0
- The Pioneers got a goal back in the 21st minute after a long throw in was deflected off the post and eventually found the back of the net for UW-Platteville to make the score 2-1
- UW-Platteville tied the match in the 26th minute after a corner kick was headed directly into the net
- Second Half
- Gembo had a shot on goal saved in the 52nd minute to begin the second half
- In the 62nd minute, a foul led to a penalty kick for the Pioneers, which was scored to make the score 3-2
- The Knights had a penalty kick opportunity after a foul in the 83rd minute that was drilled by Aidan Mott to tie the match at three apiece
- Wartburg had a free kick in the final seconds of the match that was saved by the Pioneers to keep that match at 3-3
