RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Wartburg men's basketball (6-1, 1-0 A-R-C) extended its winning streak to four games after defeating Dominican University (2-3, 0-0 NACC) on Saturday, Nov. 30.
Game Summary
- First Half
- The Knights got out to a 13-6 lead after early three pointers from Gabe Trujillo, Luke Ladwig and Marshun Williams
- Richie Rosenblum drove and scored unassisted to give Wartburg a 17-8 lead with 14:16 left in the half
- An Isaac Besh three pointer gave Wartburg a 12-point lead, but the Stars answered right away with a three to cut the lead back under 10
- Lyle Olsen added another three for Wartburg followed by another Rosenblum bucket to push the score to 31-16 with just under 10 minutes left in the first half
- Dominican got the lead down to as low as 11, but Wartburg closed the half with three pointers from Rosenblum, Trujillo and Ethan Yungtum to take a 51-32 lead into halftime

- The Stars began the second half on a 12-4 run that made the score 55-44 after five minutes of play
- After a timeout, Yungtum made two free throws followed by a made three from Rosenblum to put Wartburg back ahead by 14 points
- Dominican cut the lead to below 10 for the first time of the half with 9:16 left in the game
- The Stars got within one possession until Williams connected from beyond the arc to keep Wartburg in front 69-64 with just over six minutes left to play
- A 10-4 Wartburg run was capped off by two Ladwig free throws that made the score 79-68 with 3:20 left
- The Knights closed out an 88-80 road victory behind six made free throws from Rosenblum
