Coaches Comments
I'm really happy with perseverance we showed today, we never rolled and died," said Head Coach
Casey Klunder on his feelings after the comeback win. "When Alma answered and took the lead late I was proud of how we kept fighting all the way to the end"
Klunder talked about how pitching helped fuel the comeback "After a tough first inning,
Joey Ciero kept us in the game which is what we expect out of veteran like him," "
Logan Sullivan was fun to watch as he made his debut on the mound today, coming into a tough spot of the game," Klunder continued.
"
Carter Stubitz gives you a quality at bat almost every time he's at the plate and his two-run single in the fifth inning was huge for us today" said Klunder about Klunder's three RBI performance.
