Top Performers Coaches Comments
Head Coach Casey Klunder talked about what he saw out of Brandon Ridderhoff's debut, "A lot of people wonder how ready a freshman will be to pitch physically, but I think the mental side is just as if not more important," "The way he responded to different situations and was able to pitch with runners on impressed me." Klunder continued.

The Knights had two familiar names pitch in relief, with Max Hansen and Will Armstrong finishing the job on the mound. "Max did a great job pounding the strike zone and then Will came in and did what Will does," said Klunder.

On the offensive side, Klunder mentioned the mature approach he sees from Garrett Kadolph, "Garrett is a very mature hitter at the plate and did a great job battling with two strikes today." Kadolph had two hits today, including a two-RBI double.

Noah Day added to his impressive start to the season with a two hit and two RBI day. "Day has had a lot of really good at bats and has been a great two-strike hitter throughout the week." Klunder added.

Notes/Streaks
  • Day has recorded an RBI in every game so far this season
    • Tied for team-high with six (Tied with Walton)
