LINCOLN, Neb. – Men's basketball continued American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) play on the road against Nebraska Wesleyan University and fell 71-63 in a back-and-forth battle. Wartburg moves to 3-19 overall and 2-11 in A-R-C play.

- First Half
- The Knights jumped out to a 6-4 lead after a jumper from Isaac Besh and a three pointer from Luke Ladwig
- The Prairie Wolves scored the next six points to take a 10-6 lead with 15:16 remaining in the half
- Ethan Yungtum scored the next six points for Wartburg, but NWU led 14-12 with 10:38 left in the first
- Wartburg took the lead in the following minutes after three pointers from Besh and Marshun Williams
- Williams scored in the paint and then Ladwig connected from beyond the arc to put Wartburg ahead 24-16 with under five minutes left in the half
- Besh and Trent Allard both scored in the final minute and a half, but NWU cut the lead to 28-26 at the break

- Gabe Trujillo started second half 3/3 from beyond the arc to give Wartburg a 37-33 lead after under four minutes of play
- The Prairie Wolves went on a 12-3 run that put them ahead 45-40 with 11:40 left to play
- Minutes later, Williams scored four-straight points for the Knights to cut the NWU lead to 49-44
- Wartburg continued to cut into the lead after a Garrett Hempen three pointer and then a steal and layup from Williams made it 50-49 with 7:41 left in the game
- Williams continued his scoring run with four more points and then a layup from Allard tied the game at 55 with 5:09 remaining
- NWU went on a 9-2 run to take control of the game and take a 64-55 lead
- Ladwig scored two from the free throw line but the Prairie Wolves continued to score and closed the game out for a 71-63 win
