"Our home shoot went really well for our team," said head coach Wyatt Hambly. "We worked on setting goals prior to the start of practice this week and set a plan to attack targets at practice. This level of focus the athletes brought to practice paid off at the event as we won the event with a total score of 960 of 1,000 outshooting Coe by just 10 targets.

"In the trap event, I saw awesome scores from many athletes with our top five scores especially Parker's perfect 100 straight. Coe put up an outstanding performance as well in trap, just one target behind our team, with multiple high 90's scores. We had a few high scores in skeet with Parker winning the event with a 98 and Cody Sharp following close behind with a 97.

Parker had an outstanding shoot with his performances in both trap and skeet and we are excited to see how the rest of this season will play out for him. I want to give a shoutout to Libby Faust as well for her stellar performance in both events as well putting up a 96 in trap and a 96 in skeet. Libby worked hard at practice this week with focus and locking into the targets. She tied for first place in both events for the female category and won the High Over All female.

Case Harmston and Tyler Portwood posted 98 of 100 in trap with focus and consistency through the whole round. They both struggled in skeet, so it was awesome to see them bounce back from that and make something out of the trap round. Drew Schmidt, Ian Silvers, and Tristan Straight also brought their A-game in trap starting out the morning with 95 of 100, continuing to build their confidence and giving the mentality that they can break any target on the field."
