PELLA, Iowa – Men's soccer suffered its first American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) loss of the season with a 1-0 loss to Central College on the road Saturday, Oct. 11.
The Knights are now 4-6-1 overall and 2-1 in A-R-C play, while Central moves to 6-2-4 overall and 2-0-2 in A-R-C play.

- First Half
- The Knights defended an early corner kick attempt from Central in the fourth minute before forcing two corner kick opportunities for themselves in the 16th and 24th minutes
- Central recorded the first shot of the game in the 30th minute with a shot on goal that was saved by Joseph Svoboda
- Svoboda made another save minutes later to keep the match scoreless through 33 minutes
- Kadin Bolin had a strong shot on goal in the 41st minute that was saved Central and then in the 44th minute, Kaleab Wendy registered another Wartburg shot on goal that was saved by the Dutch

- The Knights had a late chance to tie the match in the 89th minute when Jacob Chickering was able to get a shot on goal following a corner kick that was saved by Central
- Central held off Wartburg for a 1-0 win
