CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Wartburg senior linebacker
Keenan Tyler has been named the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Tyler was all over the field once again in No. 8 Wartburg's 40–20 road win at Loras. He notched his fourth double-digit tackle game of the season, finishing with 12 stops (eight solo). Tyler also added two pass breakups, one tackle for loss, one hurry and a forced fumble in the victory. The senior leads the Knights with 71 total tackles this season, averaging 10.1 per game — the third-best mark in the A-R-C.
This marks Tyler's second career A-R-C Defensive Player of the Week honor.
