INDIANOLA, Iowa—The Wartburg softball team (19-11 overall, 8-2 American Rivers) split with No. 22 Simpson (28-4, 9-3) Saturday but remained on top of the conference standings. The Knights won the opener 8-2, but fell 11-3 in six innings in the finale.

- Sydney Fellows hit a three-run homer over the left centerfield fence to take the 3-1 lead
