WAVERLY, Iowa—The Wartburg softball team (15-9 overall, 4-0 American Rivers) swept Loras (15-11, 2-4) Saturday to remain undefeated in conference play and move its winning streak to seven.
The Knights won the opener 5-4 and claimed the finale, 7-5.

Second inning

• Loras capitalizes on a couple errors to take the 3-0 lead

• Loras scores on a fielder's choice to make it 4-0

Fifth inning

• Alexis Larson drives in Bella Mulder on her single to center to put the Knights on the board. Addy Wells sacrifices in Stephanie Kiefer. Riley Feeley scores on an error and then Sydney Fellows doubles in Larson and Amanda Strzyzewski to claim the 5-4 lead

Sixth inning

• The Duhawks tried to score but Carley Bredar throws out the runner at home from centerfield

• Fellows drives in Happ, Bredar hits a two-run single
• Mulder drives in two to take the 6-1 lead

Fourth inning

• The Duhawks hit two-run homer to right field to make it 6-3
• Feeley singles in Fellows 7-3

Fifth inning

• Loras has back-to-back RBI doubles to make it 7-5
• The Duhawks did not have a baserunner advance past first over the last two innings to seal the sweep for the Knights
