ROCK ISLAND, Illinois- The Knights No. 5 ranked men's and No. 10 ranked women's track and field teams concluded the first day of the Augustana Meet of Champions. The Knights had several individuals compete in the hammer throw, javelin throw, and discus. Abby Veld put together a top three performance in the discus.

FIELD EVENTS
(W) Javelin Throw: Kinsly Laudolff was the lone competitor for the Knights and finished with a 29.57m 97-00 mark.
 
(W) Discus: Abby Veld earned a top three finish in the event with a 46.05m 151-01 mark, which stands sixth on the TFRRS list for this season. Veld remains fourth on the program's top 10 list, but improves her mark.
 
(M) Hammer Throw: Deacon Vasey was the top performer for the Knights and finished with a 47.70m 156-06 mark.
