Alberhasky, Ca. Funk, Co. Funk, Robinson, Schmitt Earn CSC Academic All-District Recognition
Five members of the Wartburg College baseball team have been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, recognizing their achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
For the Knights,
Emerson Alberhasky,
Cael Funk,
Conner Funk,
Andrew Robinson and
Keegan Schmitt earned Academic All-District® honors. The recognition marks just the third time in program history that five Wartburg baseball student-athletes have received the distinction in the same season.
All five players garnered their first career Academic All-District® selections. Alberhasky was also named a CSC Academic All-America® finalist and will advance to the national ballot. Academic All-America® honorees are scheduled to be announced on June 23, 2026.
The CSC Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined accomplishments in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately honors student-athletes in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA competition.
Student-athletes selected as Academic All-America® finalists advance to a nationwide vote conducted by CSC members to determine first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® recipients.
