Knights notes: Men – Wartburg took a 9-6 record into their home regular season finale with UW-Platteville Wednesday. … Senior midfielder Luke Prater of Springfield, Mo., continued his strong play despite a 5-3 Knights’ loss to the University of Dubuque Oct. 23. His multiple-point finish (two goals and an assist – five points) was his fifth of the season. He picked up four in a 10-1 win at Cornell Sept. 25 for a previous best. … Senior forward Eric Peters of Bartlett, Ill., has also been coming on strong. He’d tallied goals in three of his last four matches prior to UW-Platteville. … Going into the clash with the Pioneers, Prater held the team leads in goals (six) and points (15). Sophomore forward Brandon Cook of Bondurant, senior forward Jon Farrell of Washington, Mo., and Peters were close behind in goals (five each), while Cook and Peters are tied for second in points (12). Freshman defender Bob Brown of Iowa City was first in assists (five).
