Volleyball Travels to Face William Penn

WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg volleyball team (19-8 overall) will travel to Oskaloosa, Iowa to face non-conference opponent, William Penn (12-14) Monday at 7:30 p.m.

A Look at the Teams:
Wartburg:
Seven players have surpassed 100 kills this season. The Knights are led by junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) with her 324 kills this season. Others over the century mark in kills include, freshman Bailey Wilson (West Des Moines), sophomore Kelly Niemann (Fredricksburg), senior Kamille Van Natta (Readlyn), junior Monique Davisson (Cedar Rapids), sophomore Ramey Sieck (Fayette) and Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) with 184, 168, 166, 155, 141, 111 kills, respectively.
R. Sieck leads the team in assists with 777 with sophomore Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) follows with 255. Shinstine also leads the team in digs with 306.
 
William Penn:
The Statesmen competed at Simpson's tournament last weekend. William Penn has six players over the century mark in kills this season and are led by junior Lacey Taylor who has 290 kills on the season. The top two in assists are senior Katherine Stumberg, (548) and freshman Dayna Sammons, (405). Sophomore Alanna Connors leads the team in digs with 396.
