OSKALOOSA, Iowa—The Wartburg volleyball team moved to 20-8 on the year with its sweep (25-18, 25-15, 25-12) over William Penn  (14-17) Monday night.
 
Junior Britlyn Sieck (Fayette) led the team with her eight kills and sophomore Kelli Niemann (Fredricksburg) and freshman Maddie Forsyth (Charles City) followed closely behind with seven kills each.
 
Classmate Ramey Sieck (Fayette) tallied 30 assists running the Knights’ offense.
 
Sophomore Marissa Shinstine (Tripoli) had a team-high 16 digs.
 
The Orange and Black’s defense held the Lady Statesman to a negative hitting percentage of .072.

Wartburg also held the team advantages in service aces (3-2), digs (51-46), kills (36-22) and team blocks (7-1).
 
The Knights return to the court Friday and Saturday at UW-Whitewater’s tournament.
