WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg baseball team (14-12 overall) hosts non-conference opponent, Carleton College (7-14) of Northfield, Minn. in a doubleheader of two nine-inning games Saturday starting at 1 p.m.

A Look at the Teams:
Carleton:
Erik Fabry leads his team with a .377 batting average and Alex Wirta follows closely with his .369. Kiyota Gomi leads the starting pitchers with his 3.63 ERA and is 0-2 on the mound in his 17.1 innings of work.

Wartburg:
Two players are averaging above .400 as freshman Blake Wilson (Bettendorf) has a team-best .453 average and junior Ryan Doty (Dubuque) has a .416 average entering today’s games.

Doty also leads the pitching staff with his 2.48 ERA and is 4-3 on the hill in his 58.0 innings pitched.
