WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg baseball team (17-14, 9-6) travels to face Iowa Conference opponent, Luther (16-15, 9-8), in the double-header of the conference series Tuesday at 1 p.m.

The two teams will play the nine-inning game on Wednesday, May 5 at Hertel Field.

A Look at the Teams:
Luther:
Chris Erikson leads his squad with a .371 average and three fellow players join him in the above .300 range.

Augie Lindmark leads the starting pitchers with his 3.04 ERA and has 31 K's in 50.1 innings pitched.

Wartburg:
Freshman Blake Wilson (Bettendorf) leads the team with his .412 batting average. He has also added eight doubles and 20 RBIs.

Andrew Krehbiel, Ryan Powers, Ryan Doty, Michael Shinstock all average above .300.

Powers leads the team with his 26 RBIs.

Doty also leads the starting pitching staff with his 2.49 ERA and is 5-3 on the mound. He has 88 strikeouts in 85.0 innings of work.
