WAVERLY, Iowa --The Wartburg baseball team hosts Iowa Conference opponent, Buena Vista, in a weekend conference series. The two teams will play the nine-inning game Friday at 6 p.m. and will return to the field Saturday for the doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.

Wartburg:
The Knights surpassed the 20-win mark for the year with their 7-0 victory against Simpson in the final game of the twinbill on Sunday.
Tony Stenberg leads the Knights with his .412 average and has added four doubles.
Blake Wilson is near the .400 level with his .398 average, co-leads the team with 11 doubles and is second with his 26 RBIs.
Ryan Powers, Jake Raecker, Andrew Krehbiel, Ryan Doty and Nick Massina are all above the .300 ranks at .357, .357, .355, .330 and .317, respectively.
Powers leads the team with his 27 RBIs.
Scott Benson leads the starting pitching staff with his 2.70 ERA and is 5-4 on the mound. He pitched a career-high 10.0 innings and fanned a career-best 13 batters Friday against Simpson.
Buena Vista:
Ryan Scheetz leads the team with his .362 average, nine doubles, four home runs and 28 RBIs. Jesse Munsterman, Dylan Colo, Weston Fox and Neil Eddie join him above .300 with averages of .362, .347, .328, .322 and .313, respectively.
Michael Dirkx leads the starting pitchers with his ERA of 4.28 and is 3-1 on the mound.
