WAVERLY, Iowa-- The Wartburg men's soccer team (3-0-1 overall) handed nonconference opponent, St. John's (2-1-0) its first loss of the season in the 3-0 win Saturday.

Junior Dan Nadeau (White Bear Lake, Minn.) put the Knights on the board with his goal just under four minutes into the game.

Senior Bob Brown (Solon) scored on his penalty kick attempt to take the 2-0 lead into halftime.

Sophomore Zubeen Azari (Spirit Lake) scored the final goal with 6:31 remaining in the game.

Junior Zak Kohlmeyer (Waterloo) registered his third shutout win in the net this year.

The Orange and Black return to action on the road against Carleton on Wednesday.
