CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa-- The No. 7 Wartburg football moved to 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in Iowa Conference play with its 43-0 win over Coe (2-3, 1-1) Saturday.

This remained the score until the second quarter as Wartburg's defense sacked Coe's quarterback deep in its own territory to force a punt from its four-yard line. The teams traded possesions until Jacobsmeier had his second touchdown catch of the day, this one good for 25-yards from Schrader with 3:07 to play to take the 27-0 lead.

After another three and out by Coe, the Orange and Black compiled a seven-play, 53-yard scoring drive capped off by a 25-yard field goal from junior Michael Bohlke (Manchester) as time expired at the half to make the score 30-0.

On its first drive of the third quarter, senior Chase Kleopfer (Cedar Rapids) intercepted a Kohawk pass to give Wartburg the ball back on the Kohawks' 35-yard line. On the second play of their drive, junior Brandon Domeyer (Manchester) ran it in from 35-yards out to take the 36-0 lead.

Freshman Brandon Richardson (Rock Island, Ill.) scored his first collegiate touchdown on the Knights' ensuing drive on his five-yard TD run for the final score of the game.
