The Orange and Black are 60-30 all-time in the tournament. The Knights have qualified for the tournament every season and this is the first time they are the No. 2 seed since 2014.

Senior Zach Hovick (Roland) leads the team with his .333 average. Classmate Cody Hyler (Des Moines) joins him above .300 at .314. Hovick and senior David Fitzgerald (Dubuque) have team-high 25 RBIs.
Freshman JoJo McNair (Joliet, Ill.) and senior Eric Willis (Waverly) co-lead the team with 18 stolen bases.
Senior Tanner Eckhart (Monticello, Minn.) leads the starting pitchers with a 1.32 ERA, is 6-2 with 64 strikeouts in 68.0 innings pitched.
Career Record Watch
Senior Blake Mahoney (Des Moines) is now sixth in stolen bases (57). Classmate Clay Henning (Plymouth, Wis.) is now third in assists (365). Hovick is sixth in putouts (652) and Fitzgerald is 10th (532).
Senior Austin Bohling (Letts) is tied for first with 14 saves and Eckhart is now tied for eighth in strikeouts (183).
